The computer system is able to determine the height and distance of the passageway. When the machine is operating at a higher speed, it will not take as long to go through the entire length of the passageway.
The model, which is operated at a slower pace is used in this case. The infrared light emitted by the detector will be a little more intense. As the speed of the passageway increases, the amount of light emitted will decrease. The process of the passing through an obstruction will cause some of the light waves to hit the detector. When this happens, a photo is taken and the information is read by the computer.
The non-static pass model is used to mark the interior side of the tunnels or steel doorways. This model will be marked from the outside using the light source. Once it has been used to mark the passageway, it can then be removed and replaced. The other type, which is a static detector box, works exactly the same way.
The box will have to be positioned inside of the tunnel by making sure that the first object is passed through before it is placed inside of the box. If the first object is not passed through, then the first item that is placed inside of the passageway will have to be passed through. This may include a piece of equipment, furniture or anything else that needs to be inside of the tunnel. Once the object inside of the box passes through the passageway, the alarm will sound.
It may take a while for one of these detectors to work properly. Some of them are prone to breaking or malfunctioning. A better alternative is to use a model that will work with batteries. The detector model will need to be charged once a month, and it will need to be replaced on a regular basis.
